Summary

When the United States entered World War II, farm equipment manufacturers had to produce the materials and machines for war. At the same time, farmers had to produce even more food to feed the allied troops and civilian populations. With many farm hands off to war, agricultural equipment companies had to get innovative and farmers had to become even more resourceful. In this documentary, we will look at how agriculture transformed itself to help feed and fight the war and ultimately change the face of farming forever
