Summary
Lucy Carmichael, a widow, shares her home with divorced friend Vivian Bagley (Vance) and works for bad-tempered boss, local banker, Theodore J. Mooney (Gordon). In Lucy & Jack Benny, Lucy tries to get Jack Benny's account for her bank. In Lucy and George Burns, George is persuaded by Lucy to use her in his act. In Lucy meets the Berles, Lucy thinks that Milton and Ruta Lee are having an affair and goes to great lengths to stop it. In Lucy gets trapped, after calling in sick to go to a sale, Lucy is found out when she becomes the store's 10 millionth customer, and her picture appears in the local paper
